Cerpen Bahasa Inggris tentang AIDS by Billy Hadi

Parto is a truck driver.His work made him travel a lot on the road.However,he had a bad practice as he was on his way ,which means so far away from his wife, Ningsih.It was in his nature to to find women instead of his wife during his journey.And he liked to change partners.
He had done this for long and he never realized the risk he would take till he found himself easy to get ill. After all, he was a man who managed to make his wife pregnant.

His wife, Ningsih, was so sad to see him easy to get ill. Seeing this then she took him to a hospital to have his health checked up.But what did the doctor say ? It was the most tragic  thing Ningsih had ever heard at that time as the doctor said that Parto got infected an uncured contagious disease called AIDS.And it already infected him worse. And the doctor also said that she and her baby in her womb also got infected.
They returned home from the hospital with full of sadness.
Parto was in great despair over this.He blamed it on the mistakes he had already done.But regrets were only regrets for they would not improve his poor condition. All he could do was just saying to his wife "Honey,I am so very sorry ,I did not mean to make you bear what bear,oh,I am also so sinful to hear our baby bear it too".But hearing this, Ningsih was just speechless.
As this story goes,the doctor recommended that Ningsih should do an abortion.But you know what she said ?,she said"Doc,I won't kill my baby,as a bad luck would have it ,I am ready to die but I would still love to let my baby breathe no matter how long he or she will breathe and I would love to let my beloved husband see him or her before he dies".Hearing this the doctor speechless.
Time went on by and it was in the morning as the baby was born and next in the evening Parto said forever good bye
